Shaping the Morality
According to a survey， more than two thirds of people in China agree that， the public moral level is lower than before。 This figure， although hard to accept， has indicated the fact that the nation’s overall morality is declining。 If you pay some attention， you could easily point out some improper behaviors happening around: young men refusing to give seats to the old on buses; shoppers jamming into queue instead of waiting in line; crude riders neglecting red lights， etc。 So what the hell is going on?
As analysts have figured out， this trend of degradation mainly originated from faulty education。 For decades， Chinese schools simply infuse bookish knowledge to their students， whilst moral cultivation becomes a kind of formalism; on the other hand， children are naturally influenced by their family and other adults in the society， most of whom are too sophisticated to be considered as eligible moral models。
Facing such disappointing condition， you may ask: how can things become better? As far as I am concerned， we must following these three steps。 First of all: self-shaping。 We should manage ourselves well， and try to shape our own morality as perfect as possible。 The second step: family-shaping， which is to behave as the model for your children and improve their moral status through strict discipline。 The third: organization-shaping。 If you are leading people， such as being a manager or national president， you could reinforce your whole organization’s moral situation with policy and your own action。 Even if you’re no leader， you’ll have a positive impact on the society if only you manage yourself well and try to influence others as much as possible。

Yes, nearly all of the children love games, computer games, cellphone games, vii… Those games are popular in the children’s world, even some grow-ups like the games, too. The cellphone games in my cellphone are not so much but four, I know two of them from my cousin’s cellphone. Another one is called ‘San Guo Sha’. It’s my favorite game which is learned from the boys in my class. It’s a very funny game, it has all the people in the Three Kingdoms. I sometimes play the games, and I feel happy, but the sad thing happened.
My mom-- who will never buy me a cellphone like the one I have—she always thinks I will drop in to the games and never comes up again. She hates games, and when she finds I am playing the cellphone game, she will be very angry about that, she wants to stop me playing cellphone games, even for a few minutes. She thinks I will not study if I play the cellphone games. But she is wrong! She said if I played the cellphone games I would not want to read books. Then, who’s the one asked her to read book together this morning? That’s me! I love reading, and if no one pushes, I’d love to study! Playing games, studying and reading, are not conflicting. My mom always thinks the thing will never happen. I will prove it! Wait and see!

After years of hard work, this Chinese student graduated with amazing academic achievements. Everyone thought he was going to get a good job easily and have a bright future. But to his disappointment, he was not even allowed the chance for an interview! The third time he was turned down, he couldn’t help telephoning the pany to ask why they didn’t want him. The answer was simple, “We don’t hire dishonest people in Germany.”
What was wrong you might wonder? The truth is, shortly aften he arrived in Germany, this clever student found that it was easy to skip buying subway tickets. So, to save money, he often went without a ticket. As a result, he had been caught without a ticket in the subway three times.
From this story, we learn that we may get short-term benefits by dishonest means, but the truth will e out sooner or later and the cost is high. So remember: honest is the best policy.
