Someone said "we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite". I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.
We are young. "How to spend the youth?" It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask "what do you understand by the word youth?" Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.
We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. 我是葉施云，來自502班。我呢，雖然在老師面前是一個(gè)有點(diǎn)膽小的女生，但是我和周邊同學(xué)還是處得不錯(cuò)的。我們經(jīng)常能互幫互助，不管是男生還是女生。除此之外，我的書法也寫得不錯(cuò)，在校內(nèi)和校外都學(xué)了好幾年的字，而且考出了六級(jí)，今年準(zhǔn)備沖刺7級(jí)。我覺得，這對(duì)于今后的`幫助應(yīng)該是非常大的。
在英語(yǔ)方面，我是很有自信的，我的每次成績(jī)最少能達(dá)到90分以上。另外，我還在外面學(xué)了三年多的英語(yǔ)，目前已經(jīng)升到新概念1—2了。這對(duì)于我的視、聽、說水平是非常重要的，也大大增加了我的詞匯量。每次默寫單詞，我?guī)缀醵寄軐懭珜?duì)。就在上一次第一單元所有單詞默寫中，三顆星（最高也是三顆星）呢。在家中，我都會(huì)花上25分鐘左右的時(shí)間來流利地朗讀課文。有空時(shí)我還會(huì)看帶有英文的書，爸爸說這能提高我的英語(yǔ)水平。遇到不懂的還可以翻開英文字典查看注釋。以上幾點(diǎn)，大大地增強(qiáng)了我的語(yǔ)法知識(shí)。
對(duì)于作業(yè)，我都是很及時(shí)地上交，回到家后只有朗讀課文就行了。有時(shí)看到課代表遲遲沒有發(fā)本子時(shí)或組織同學(xué)聽寫單詞時(shí)，總會(huì)一個(gè)勁兒地催他。
如果我當(dāng)上了英語(yǔ)課代表，一定會(huì)仔細(xì)檢查同學(xué)上交作業(yè)中的錯(cuò)誤，讓他們及時(shí)改正。也會(huì)把他們不準(zhǔn)確的發(fā)音，盡我所能地糾正。同學(xué)遇到不理解的閱讀題目，我也會(huì)在確定答案的情況下，跟他們進(jìn)行分析。總之，我會(huì)配合各項(xiàng)工作，盡到我的職責(zé)，并及時(shí)地搬發(fā)本子，和老師報(bào)告上交作業(yè)的情況。

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer, a cancer that can?'t be cured. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission.
He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a beautiful girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.

In my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice. There is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference.

Life is a box of chocolate,you never know what you will get. Forrest Gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. The process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. Take myself as an example, I changed my major when I became a postgraduate. After the choice,days have been harsh for me.I cannot understand the new lessons at all. For they are closely related to mathmatics which I learned nothing about before. However wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself,I persisted. I asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. Gradually I could understand some parts and even found maths over, I learned to act instead of complaining. In retrospect,the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life.

Instead of placing a judgement on your situation, apply your most positive purposes to that situation. Instead of seeing the world as negative, see yourself as a powerful agent of the positive possibilities.
If you find yourself giving in to negativity, you are selling yourself short. The moment you feel the slightest pain of a negative thought, stop and remind yourself how powerful you are. Do the intentional work of keeping your thoughts positive. Because whatever you always think is where your life will surely and steadily go.
