　　Jo: This is Real English from BBC Learning English. I’m Jo.

　　Jean: And I’m Jean.

　　Jo: In Real English, we look at words and phrases that you might not find in your dictionary.

　　Jo: Today’s new word is ‘to google’. That’s G.O.O.G.L.E. Google.

　　Jean: To google. What’s that?

　　Jo: Well, do you use the internet Jean?

　　Jean: Yes of course.

　　Jo: And have you ever looked for any information using the Google site?

　　Jean: Yes I have.

　　Jo: To google means to use a search engine like google or yahoo to find information.

　　Jean: 遠(yuǎn)離 google現(xiàn)在可以當(dāng)成一個(gè)動(dòng)詞來用了，就是用因特網(wǎng)上的搜索引擎來搜索信息的意思。

　　Jo: Yes, you could say ‘I didn’t know the answer, so I googled it’.

　　Jean: 所以google完全就是網(wǎng)上搜索的意思了。

　　Jo: Absolutely.

　　A: Who was king of France in 1487?

　　B: I have absolutely no idea. Why don’t you google it?

　　Jean: Do you google a lot?

　　Jo: Yes I do, I google all the time.

　　Jean: What for?

　　Jo: Well, if I want information about something, or to find hotels and tourist information when I travel.

　　Jean: 好了，讓我們來回顧一下，to google就是指在因特網(wǎng)上用搜索引擎來搜索信息。 And that’s all we have time for today.
