1. 指“軍隊”，既指“軍隊”的'總稱，也側重指“陸軍”。比較：navy 海軍 / air force 空軍
2. 用作主語，謂語動詞用單數(shù) 或復數(shù) 均可：

3. “參軍”及相關說法有兩類，請注意區(qū)別：
