a dog in the manger是個(gè)名詞性短語(yǔ),常與系動(dòng)詞連用,充當(dāng)表語(yǔ)

bell the cat系成語(yǔ)to hang the bell about the cats neck的簡(jiǎn)略,愿意是給貓的脖子上掛鈴。
Thats a capital idea.We will bell the cat!No more fear of the cat!
