雅思寫作大作文的用詞技巧
(一)詞匯運(yùn)用的層次
通過對(duì)雅思寫作評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，官方范文以及考生所寫的文章的分析，考生在用詞方面可以分為以下幾個(gè)層次：
1. 正確(Correct)：表達(dá)你想表達(dá)的意思，對(duì)于同一個(gè)意思可能有好幾個(gè)詞，那么同義詞基本上都是正確的。
2. 合適(Appropriate)：在不同語境下要使用不同的詞，比如在肯定的語義中要用褒義詞，而在否定的語義中要使用貶義詞。
3. 精確(Exact)：要聯(lián)系上下文，盡可能用詞到位，因?yàn)橛行┰~是不夠精確的.。比如: allocate part of the fiscal revenue，allocate是分配，不能用divide來替換。
4. 靈活(Smart)：英語本身就有很多約定俗成的表達(dá)方法，用我們的話來說，就是有很多潛規(guī)則。因此，我們要注意培養(yǎng)地道英語表達(dá)，還要注意詞匯的固定搭配。
(二)詞匯的變換技巧
在寫作評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)里有明確的關(guān)于詞匯的標(biāo)準(zhǔn): Lexical Resource: 詞匯資源。它考察詞匯的運(yùn)用是否多樣恰當(dāng)且準(zhǔn)確。詞匯的多少并不能決定文章的好壞，但用詞精確性是可以加分的。一般來說，詞匯的準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)可以通過兩個(gè)方面 達(dá)到，一是在用詞的難度上拔高，二是在近義詞的多種表達(dá)上提升。值得提醒的是，不要過分堆積華麗的，會(huì)給考官留下華而不實(shí)的感覺。
1. 使用同義詞進(jìn)行替換
使用同義詞的好處在于首先可以向考官展示考生詞匯量的豐富，其次也可以使文章富有變化。因此，同義詞的運(yùn)用是衡量考生英語水平的一個(gè)很有力的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，考官認(rèn)同你的同時(shí)，自然也會(huì)給你高分。請(qǐng)看下面的例子:
School teachers used to be the source of information. However，some people argue that teachers are not as important as before because there is an increasing variety of information resources. What is your opinion? (08年4月24日考題)
2. 使用各種形式的同根詞進(jìn)行替換
英語里面有很多同根詞，通過單詞的變換來吸引閱卷者眼球并獲得高分是一個(gè)很好的辦法。一些單詞通過添加前綴或者后綴的方式可以衍生出很多新的詞匯。而使用這些詞匯可以避免重復(fù)原文當(dāng)中的詞條，也可以向閱卷者展示你變化詞匯的技巧。
比如寫作中我們經(jīng)常會(huì)用到“知道”這個(gè)概念，我們可以用know這個(gè)詞以及它的其他形式和它們的同義詞來表示“知道”這個(gè)意思。
3. 使用短語進(jìn)行替換
英語里同樣擁有豐富的短語，使用它們，可以準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)原文中的信息。在一些特殊情況下，短語也可以作為增加字?jǐn)?shù)的方法。以下我們來看另外一個(gè)例子:
Some say that building more roads will help reduce the traffic congestion in big cities. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this. Do you support or oppose this statement?
4. 綜合使用各種方法進(jìn)行替換
經(jīng)過了上述幾種方法的討論，我們可以進(jìn)行綜合的運(yùn)用，切勿只拘泥于一種方法。比如我們要表達(dá)利益和好處這個(gè)意思時(shí)，我們一般可以使用benefit這個(gè)詞，我們也可以使用其他不同的形式來表達(dá)利益和好處這個(gè)意思;
用同義詞對(duì)于原句進(jìn)行替換后，再把原句的結(jié)構(gòu)進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)淖儞Q，最終呈現(xiàn)在閱卷者面前的句子和原來就截然不同，但是意思基本一致的。
