Lesson 1 A private conversation 私人談話
你是否經(jīng)常聽到有人在公交車上，電影院中或餐館等公共場合大聲說話或講電話？這種時候是不是感到特別氣憤，特別無奈呢？我們聽一下下面這位老兄的遭遇。
Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again. 'I can't hear a word!' I said angrily.
'It's none of your business,' the young man said rudely. 'This is a private conversation!'

上星期我去看戲。我的座位很好，戲很有意思，但我卻無法欣賞。一青年男子與一青年女子坐在我的身后，大聲地說著話。我非常生氣，因為我聽不見演員在說什么。我回過頭去怒視著那一男一女，他們卻毫不理會。最后，我忍不住了，又一次回過頭去，生氣地說：“我一個字也聽不見了！”
“不關(guān)你的事，”那男的'毫不客氣地說，“這是私人間的談話！”

We've come too far; turn the car round and go back.
我們已經(jīng)走了很遠(yuǎn), 把車掉過頭來往回開吧。
They did not pay any attention.
pay attention(to)注意
No attention was paid to his advice.
他的建議沒有引起注意。
It's none of your business.不關(guān)你的事。
如果某人老是對你不想說的問題打破砂鍋問到底，你就可以告訴他：It's none of your business.
In the end, I could not bear it.再也受不了了。
某些令人厭煩的事情一再出現(xiàn)，再也忍受不了了，可以用這一句話來表達(dá)自己的心情。
