海關(guān)出入境常識(shí)
一、入境要交驗(yàn)?zāi)男┳C件?
外國(guó)人入境持有效的護(hù)照、證件并辦妥我國(guó)入境簽證;中國(guó)人憑有效護(hù)照、證件入境。中、外國(guó)旅客入境時(shí),須將填寫好的入、出境登記卡連同護(hù)照、證件、簽證,一并交邊防檢查站檢查。
二、出境要交驗(yàn)?zāi)男┳C件?
外國(guó)人出境時(shí)須向邊防檢查站交驗(yàn)其有效護(hù)照、證件和出境登記卡,并在有效入境簽證上規(guī)定期限內(nèi)出境; 中國(guó)人出境須向邊防檢查站交驗(yàn)有效的護(hù)照證件、前往國(guó)簽證、出境登記卡及有關(guān)部門簽發(fā)的出國(guó)證明。另準(zhǔn)備指定醫(yī)院已接受接種證明。
三、什么是簽證?
簽證是主權(quán)國(guó)家準(zhǔn)許外國(guó)公民或本國(guó)公民出入境或經(jīng)過(guò)國(guó)境的一種許可證明。即在出國(guó)旅行者的護(hù)照上或者在其他有效的旅行證件上蓋印簽注的手續(xù),表示準(zhǔn)許其出入或經(jīng)過(guò)該國(guó)國(guó)境。
一個(gè)公民如果想出國(guó)旅行、移居或者留學(xué)、結(jié)婚等,除了需要持有護(hù)照以外,還必須持有相應(yīng)的簽證,護(hù)照是持有者的國(guó)籍和身份證明,簽證則是主權(quán)國(guó)家準(zhǔn)許外國(guó)公民或者本國(guó)公民出入境或者經(jīng)過(guò)國(guó)境的許可證明。簽證一般都簽注在護(hù)照上,也有的簽注在代替護(hù)照的其他旅行證件上,有的還頒發(fā)另紙簽證。如美國(guó)的移民簽證即是一種申請(qǐng)表,新加坡對(duì)外國(guó)人也發(fā)一種另紙簽證,但必須與護(hù)照同時(shí)使用,方能發(fā)生效力。對(duì)外國(guó)人,一般均是根據(jù)申請(qǐng)者的身份和入境目的'發(fā)給不同的入境簽證,如旅游、探親、移民、留學(xué)、工作等簽證,并限制入境后的居留時(shí)間。因簽證種類不同,要求提供的有關(guān)材料也不一樣。一般對(duì)以短期居留為目的的申請(qǐng)限制較少,等待批準(zhǔn)的時(shí)間也較短。對(duì)以謀職和長(zhǎng)期居留為目的,申請(qǐng)則限制較多,待批的時(shí)間也較長(zhǎng),這已成為各國(guó)的普遍做法。一個(gè)國(guó)家沒(méi)有允許外國(guó)人無(wú)條件入境的義務(wù)(有條約者除外),一個(gè)外國(guó)人也沒(méi)有要求一國(guó)政府允許他入境的權(quán)利。外國(guó)人入境是有條件限制的。近年來(lái),隨著國(guó)際貿(mào)易、國(guó)際政治關(guān)系的發(fā)展,。旅游業(yè)的興旺,許多國(guó)家的簽證規(guī)定趨于簡(jiǎn)化。各國(guó)之間也有互兔簽證或簡(jiǎn)化簽證手續(xù) 的協(xié)議。
中國(guó)出入境相關(guān)規(guī)定
出境登機(jī)一般流程：
1、辦理行李托運(yùn)(不要將貴重物品進(jìn)行托運(yùn))，換取登機(jī)牌，飛機(jī)起飛前45分鐘停止辦理以上乘機(jī)手續(xù)
2、前往通關(guān)柜臺(tái)排隊(duì)通關(guān)
3、接受邊防檢查，在邊防柜臺(tái)前，請(qǐng)出示護(hù)照、登機(jī)牌
4、接受安全檢查(請(qǐng)將液體及危險(xiǎn)物品等事先辦理托運(yùn))
5、前往登機(jī)牌上所寫的登機(jī)口
6、候機(jī)，登機(jī)
出境攜帶錢幣金額一般規(guī)定：
海關(guān)規(guī)定每人最多可以攜帶人民幣20000元或折合5000美金的等值外幣，超出部分需要向海關(guān)書面申報(bào)，請(qǐng)盡量不要超過(guò)規(guī)定，超出部分可能會(huì)面臨征稅、罰款或沒(méi)收。
海關(guān)申報(bào)物品的'一般規(guī)定：
若攜帶單價(jià)超過(guò)5000元的攝像機(jī)、長(zhǎng)鏡頭相機(jī)等貴重物品出關(guān)請(qǐng)?jiān)谕羞\(yùn)行李前向海關(guān)申報(bào)。

This letter is prepared to support my parents, XXX (farther) and XXX (mother), for the visiting visas to the United States. They are coming from China and will travel to XXX, North Carolina, to visit me for 6 months. Their sheduled departure date is on XXX, 2010. The return tickets and other dcuments to support their visas are enclosed.
I work for the XXX as an XXX. While I am enjoying my work and personal lifehere in North Carolina, I miss my parents very much and would like to spendsome time with them thissummer. We plan to visit San Francisco and LasVegas in July, New York City, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia in August. Inaddition, I also would like to have an opportunity to show them some localattractions of which I am proud of, such as the Great Smoky MountainsNational Park, the Wright Brothers National Memorial and so on. My parents have a successful and enjoyable life in China. My farther is aretired high school teacher. He is currently participating in several localinterest groups (i.e., fishing etc.) to celebrate his life after retirement.My mother is a retired physician who is also enjoying a life with diverseinterests. My parents live in their own house that has been paid off andreceive monthly pension and healthcare benefit from the Chinese SocialWarfare system, which ensures them a decent life in China. While they truly enjoy their life in XXX, China, together with my siblings and grand children, they also enjoy traveling and have been many places in China, including Bijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
I am willing to assume all the cost associated with my parents’ visit in the United States and would like to personally thank you for your kind consideration in providing an opportunity for our family reunion.
