The playground of xiangyang primary school is exciting! The women’s volleyball team is favored by everyone. In the TV, their matches will be showed, people will watch and yell for them. My parents told me that their idols were the women’s volleyball players, because they were moved by their tough spirit. I have witnessed these girls at the top and then started to fall, now they have come to the top again. They never give up.
In last 11 years, the women’s volleyball team had experienced the bad time. They were in the turning period, the old players retired and the new players were not strong enough. Though these girls did not play well, they practiced hard and finally come to the top again. I am so moved, they deserve the biggest applause.

In high school I took one course called music appreciation which I greatly enjoyed. This was not to learn how to play a specific instrument but to learn how to read and listen to music as an art form. We read the stories about the lives of many composers and the history of the musical instruments themselves. Sometimes we listened to tapes at the language laboratory, or concerts. Music is sometimes called a universal language. A composer who cannot speak a single word of our language can make us feel joy and pride, exaltation and despair, peace and mystery through his music.

競(jìng)賽共分五個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)，每個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)滿分十分，共計(jì)五十分。這五個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)分別是：主打參賽選手自我介紹，班級(jí)單詞聽(tīng)寫，才藝展示，聽(tīng)力搶實(shí)物和即興英語(yǔ)對(duì)話。
其中，最激烈、緊張、有趣的一環(huán)節(jié)是聽(tīng)力搶實(shí)物。比賽開(kāi)始了，我第一個(gè)上場(chǎng)。對(duì)手四（一）班派出的選手是吳珂，她可是個(gè)很有實(shí)力的對(duì)手。我倆孤零零地站在比賽場(chǎng)地中間，像要一決生死似的。我的'心緊張得抽成一團(tuán)，手竟有些發(fā)抖，腦子里只一個(gè)想法：聽(tīng)準(zhǔn)單詞。只聽(tīng)孫說(shuō)：“語(yǔ)文書？”我急忙跑到右邊的桌子前，定睛一看，只見(jiàn)一本藍(lán)色封皮的語(yǔ)文書展現(xiàn)在我眼前，我連忙把它舉了起來(lái)。而此時(shí)，吳珂才反應(yīng)過(guò)來(lái)向我這里跑來(lái)。我內(nèi)心充滿了自豪和快樂(lè)，仿佛所有的人都在向我笑，我仿佛看到我們班榮獲了冠軍……
一陣熱烈的掌聲又把我拉了回來(lái)，激烈的比賽繼續(xù)進(jìn)行。
這場(chǎng)比賽的結(jié)果呀，自然是我們四（二）班勇摘桂冠。英語(yǔ)競(jìng)賽真令我難忘。
