When I lived in my hometown, I liked raining so much, because sometimes I could see the rainbow, it is so beautiful and attractive. I remembered the first time when I saw the rainbow. It was a stuffy afternoon, when I took a nap, I heard it rained, but there was sunshine in the sky.
After an hour, the rain stopped. I walked out of my house and took a look at the sky, I saw a long colorful bridge in the sky. It appeared clearly, so close to me, it seemed that I could walk it to the sky. Now I live in the city, but I never see such beautiful rainbow again. The city’s buildings cover the sky.

On the left side of the road is theLibrary, on the right is the Big Garden with all kinds of flowers. To the westof the Lab Building stands the Office Building. Behind the Lab Building is theTeaching Building, which has 32 classes. Our big playground is to the east ofthese building with lots of trees around it.

My memory though my hometown is a small village it is very beautiful.
When I was small I liked to caught fish in the river the water was so clean that I could see the fish. As I miss my hometown so much last week I went back to my hometown I found the place in my memory was not like what it was. The trees were not that numerous the roads became bigger while there was less place for the river I saw some dead fish in the river the water was dirty the river pollution was so serious! I couldn’t believe it the beautiful hometown was destroyed by the pollution it is people’s ambition results in it they chase for the profit at the cost of polluting the environment.
I wish people can pay attention to protect the environment they are saving themselves too.

On Saturday we went camping with our teachers. First we pitched the tent. then our older brothers and older sisters played game with us. At noon we all had a delicious lunch followed by a barbecue for dinner. At night we had bonfire and sang and danced. We didn’t sleep until 10:20 at night. But some of the boys were so noisy we couldn't fall alseep. I only slept for three hours. the next morning everybody woke up very early. After exercising in the morning we all went to see the small pigs. On the way there we saw a lot of geese.
At 10:00 we went back to eat ice cream. It was so cold. then we all played games together. We ate lunch at 12:00. In the afternoon we played musical instruments and sang. After that camp was over. We had a lot of fun at the summer camp. I am looking forward o going to another summer camp soon.

奶奶的生日(Grandmas Birthday)
It‘s my grandma‘s birthday today. She lives with my uncle in a village not far from Taiyuan. We decided to visit her.
At eight o‘clock in the morning, my parents and I went to a shop and bought a big birthday cake. It took us two hours to go there in my father‘s car. My grandma and uncle were very glad to see us. I shook her by the hand and said, "Happy birthday to you!" She smiled happily. Then we sat down to talk, and we had a wonderful time together. At 5 o‘clock in the afternoon we said goodbye to them and went home.
I love my grandma. I am going to see her again next month.

Ten years later, he succeeded in inventing a new species that produced a 20 percent higher yield than common types of rice. Yuan devoted himself to the research into agriculture, & was honored by UNESCO & FAO. Although he is 70 years old, he is still working on the research into agriculture.

下午兩點(diǎn)半，我們來到了階梯教室，呀！好像在開盛大的party一樣！首先映入眼簾的是舞臺上大大的紅條幅“熱烈慶祝玉沙小學(xué)第十一屆英語才藝競賽”， 舞臺的兩旁還掛著許多粉紅的大氣球，仿佛是天使的光環(huán)，絢麗多彩的燈光把整個教室照得通亮。同學(xué)們也個個神采奕奕，激動的不得了！有的手上拿著啦啦棒，使勁地?fù)]著。有的拿著手掌拍，不停地拍著，還有的手上拿著鮮花-----
伴著歡歌熱舞，比賽開始了，第一環(huán)節(jié)是即興演講。我們班的代表是薛景怡，當(dāng)主持人報到她名字的時候，我的心里馬上緊張起來，生怕她忘詞。輪到她出場了，只見她大方從容的用英語演講，她那流利的英語和有如黃鸝般清翠的聲音，聽得同學(xué)們?nèi)绨V如醉。她一說完，臺下就響起了雷鳴般的掌聲。果然，她不負(fù)眾望，得到了94分的高分。
接下來的選手也毫不遜色，一個個過五關(guān)斬六將，最精彩的`還是才藝表演《大樹與小鳥》，當(dāng)“蟲子“們一出場，他們滑稽又囂張的動作讓我們?nèi)滩蛔∨醺勾笮�，有的同學(xué)笑得在椅子上搖來搖去，有的笑得頭都在埋到手臂里面，還有的笑得眼淚都流出來了------當(dāng)獵人開著槍“砰“地一響時，教室里馬上安靜下來，同學(xué)們仿佛身臨其境，個個都全神貫注地聽著，當(dāng)小孩勸告獵人不要傷害小鳥的時候，同學(xué)們更看得熱情高漲，掌聲、歡呼聲不斷傳來！這個情景劇告訴我們要保護(hù)環(huán)境，也要保護(hù)動物！
最激動人心的時刻到了，主持人宣讀著比賽結(jié)果，雖然我們班只得了三等獎，但這次的競賽既開心又讓我們增長了不少知識，更讓我們感受到這次比賽的意義“Happy English,Happy life,Don’t be shy,I’m the best!"
