二月十二，大年初六，年的感覺都還沒過完，就開學(xué)了，雖然大家都得了開學(xué)癥候群——懶洋洋的，然而我們這一班，卻全班喜氣萬分，原來，開學(xué)第一天，我們就被安排參觀國際英語村，要過一整天的美式生活，這里建立全美式英語環(huán)境的教室，有八個不同的主題情境，里面安排了外籍的教師，有交通轉(zhuǎn)運站、Shoppingcenter、Restaurant、Livingroom、Toycenter…
一切的對話，都是全情境式的，而所有的布景、道具、裝飾，都是美式的，在購物中心里，孩子可以使用代幣，購買他想要的玩具、衣服、布偶，最后到柜臺結(jié)帳，而在玩具中心，孩子甚至在美語老師的教導(dǎo)下，一個步驟接一個步驟完成美勞作品，孩子雖然一開始不能適應(yīng)，但也能充份體會和外國人對話的感覺，而在老師再三解釋下，孩子也慢慢開始理解，老師所想表達(dá)的意思，氣氛就在一開始非常緊張，到開始熟悉，最后漸入佳境，每一站幾乎都能吸引小朋友的注意，難得的是，孩子們雖然有英文表達(dá)能力上的'差異，卻都十分喜歡這樣的學(xué)習(xí)方式，看來，舊式的教學(xué)環(huán)境，實在無法滿足現(xiàn)階段孩子的學(xué)習(xí)需求，不過這驚奇又有趣一天，對渴望學(xué)習(xí)的孩子來說，還是太短了，還沒回到學(xué)校，班上的同學(xué)就已開始期待，下次何時能夠再次造訪，這位于都市中心的國際英語村。
