英語(yǔ)四級(jí)口語(yǔ)考試答題技巧
介紹應(yīng)對(duì)CET口語(yǔ)考試的四大妙招,以期幫助各位考生順利過關(guān)。
一、知己知彼,百戰(zhàn)不殆
首先要明確口語(yǔ)考試的考查目的及試卷結(jié)構(gòu),做到心中有數(shù)。大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四、六級(jí)考試口語(yǔ)考試(CET Spoken English Test,簡(jiǎn)稱CET-SET)主要考查大學(xué)生運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行口頭交際的能力。CET-SET報(bào)考對(duì)象為獲得全國(guó)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四、六級(jí)證書且成績(jī)達(dá)到一定分?jǐn)?shù)線的在校大學(xué)生。教育部規(guī)定,四級(jí)筆試550分、六級(jí)520分以上的考生可以報(bào)名參加口試。四、六級(jí)口語(yǔ)考試為一年兩次,分別在5月和11月?荚嚨攸c(diǎn)在考生報(bào)名的考點(diǎn),具體考場(chǎng)在考生報(bào)名后隨機(jī)編組確定。
CET-SET考試采用面對(duì)面的形式,每場(chǎng)考試由2名主考和3(或4)名考生組成。
CET-SET考試分三部分:
第一部分是考生和CET授權(quán)的主考進(jìn)行交談,采用問答的形式。時(shí)間約5分鐘。包括考生自我介紹、回答問題等。
第二部分包括1.5分鐘的考生個(gè)人發(fā)言和4.5分鐘的小組討論。時(shí)間共約10分鐘。
第三部分由主考再次提問以進(jìn)一步確定考生的口頭交際能力,由主考老師進(jìn)一步提問。時(shí)間約5分鐘。
二、充分練習(xí),胸有成竹
口語(yǔ)測(cè)試是以“說(shuō)”為考查重點(diǎn)的,因此,考前的練習(xí),主要靠多說(shuō),多交流。大家可以通過如下幾個(gè)途徑練習(xí):
1. 尋找同伴。找一個(gè)同樣要參加考試,或者熱衷英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)的同學(xué),要是舍友就更好了,兩個(gè)人利用一切在一起的時(shí)間進(jìn)行口語(yǔ)練習(xí)。
2. 英語(yǔ)角。英語(yǔ)角是個(gè)練習(xí)口語(yǔ)的理想之地,在那里我們不但可以練習(xí)口語(yǔ),還可以交流英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)驗(yàn),開拓視野,提高英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)興趣。
以上兩個(gè)途徑的口語(yǔ)練習(xí)都是要與人交流的,也是見效最快的,但在練習(xí)的過程中要注意如下幾點(diǎn):
(1)不要害羞,要敢于開口。很多人在說(shuō)英語(yǔ)時(shí),尤其是和自己的同學(xué)講英語(yǔ)時(shí)會(huì)有羞怯心理,怕自己說(shuō)的不好被對(duì)方笑話。其實(shí)這大可不必,試想,大家都是在高考的應(yīng)試教育中一路走過來(lái)的,誰(shuí)比誰(shuí)又能強(qiáng)多少、或者差多少呢?
(2)不要怕犯錯(cuò)誤。很多同學(xué)在講英語(yǔ)時(shí),開口之前往往先在心里把一個(gè)句子組織好,尤其特別注意保證語(yǔ)法的正確性,這樣就明顯降低了交流速度,從而影響交流效果。其實(shí),語(yǔ)法我們自然要注重,但在口語(yǔ)練習(xí)初期,還是首先要強(qiáng)調(diào)流利的。而且,口語(yǔ)就是為了交流,只要你把意思能表達(dá)清楚,能讓別人了解你的意思,達(dá)到交流的目的,又何必拘泥于一兩處語(yǔ)法的不規(guī)范呢?現(xiàn)在很多的英語(yǔ)、美語(yǔ)慣用口語(yǔ)表達(dá)要細(xì)究語(yǔ)法的話,其實(shí)都不符合語(yǔ)法規(guī)則,而且,聆聽英語(yǔ)母語(yǔ)國(guó)家的人的說(shuō)話,他們的語(yǔ)法也并不是百分百正確的。所以,要時(shí)刻銘記口語(yǔ)是以交流為目的,這也是口語(yǔ)考試的初衷。當(dāng)然,低級(jí)的語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤還是不要出現(xiàn)的,比如“she”、“he”不分,主謂單復(fù)數(shù)形式不一致等,如果出現(xiàn)這種基礎(chǔ)性的錯(cuò)誤,分?jǐn)?shù)肯定是要大打折扣的。
(3)不要怕不會(huì)說(shuō)或說(shuō)不出來(lái)。如果用英語(yǔ)在日常生活中交流,很可能會(huì)感到,原來(lái)用漢語(yǔ)簡(jiǎn)短一句話就可以說(shuō)清楚的問題,用英語(yǔ)好幾句話也說(shuō)不清楚,甚至壓根就不知該怎么說(shuō);還有一些我們常見物品的詞匯,用漢語(yǔ)指稱起來(lái)沒有任何問題,而英語(yǔ)就不知該怎么稱呼。就拿我們經(jīng)常吃的蔬菜來(lái)說(shuō),你知道“蘿卜”用英語(yǔ)怎么說(shuō)嗎,“芹菜”呢?“韭菜”呢?交流中遇到這種不會(huì)說(shuō)的情況不要泄氣,千萬(wàn)不要看看這不會(huì)那不會(huì)就干脆不說(shuō)了。建議大家遇到單詞不會(huì)的情況可以先把這個(gè)單詞跳過,記下來(lái)事后回去查一下;遇到不會(huì)表達(dá)的情況也可以先記下來(lái),回去書中或網(wǎng)上查一下。其實(shí),日常的表達(dá)就有限的一些場(chǎng)景與句式,慢慢的積累多了,你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn),你不會(huì)的越來(lái)越少,表達(dá)越來(lái)越順暢了。
如果找不到學(xué)伴或參加英語(yǔ)角的機(jī)會(huì)很少,那也沒有關(guān)系,有很多種方法可以自己練習(xí)口語(yǔ),比如自己對(duì)自己講英語(yǔ),自己開口描述所看到的景物、口述自己正在做的事情。這里要強(qiáng)調(diào)的是,一定要“說(shuō)”出來(lái),而不是在心里默想。“說(shuō)出來(lái)”與“默想”是兩個(gè)不同的層次,很多人在心里想的很好,但一張嘴就又出錯(cuò)了。
這里介紹一種非常有效且很容易堅(jiān)持的自己練習(xí)口語(yǔ)的方法——口譯英漢對(duì)照的小說(shuō)或其他讀物。
首先讀漢語(yǔ)部分,然后逐句直接口譯成英文,完成一小段后,去看書上的對(duì)應(yīng)英文部分并與我們的口譯進(jìn)行比較,這樣馬上就可以發(fā)現(xiàn)口譯的錯(cuò)誤和缺點(diǎn),在改進(jìn)中獲得進(jìn)步?梢詮谋容^簡(jiǎn)單的讀物開始,而且要大量練習(xí)。剛開始時(shí)可能速讀較慢,費(fèi)時(shí)較多,但慢慢的,你會(huì)覺得你的反應(yīng)速度和口語(yǔ)流利度越來(lái)越高了。
三、考前準(zhǔn)備,不容忽視
1. 考前要做好主題準(zhǔn)備工作,包括了解一些常用、熱點(diǎn)話題,積累一些話題詞匯,準(zhǔn)備能套用的幾十個(gè)常用句型備用。
2. 準(zhǔn)備一個(gè)自我介紹。自我介紹盡量準(zhǔn)備的有特色一點(diǎn),生動(dòng)一些,給考官以眼前一亮的感覺。自我介紹不要過分繁雜、冗長(zhǎng),不要為了使用某些也許會(huì)增光添彩的語(yǔ)句而使本該簡(jiǎn)短的文字變得復(fù)雜、不自然。自我介紹要實(shí)事求是,不要撒謊,不要特意把自己塑造成一個(gè)優(yōu)秀大學(xué)生的樣子。一切實(shí)話實(shí)說(shuō)即好,展現(xiàn)最自然的自己。
四、隨機(jī)應(yīng)變,笑傲考場(chǎng)
1.考前熱身,了解搭檔?荚囍,考官會(huì)對(duì)所有考生進(jìn)行隨機(jī)分組,通常三個(gè)人一組,并給一定時(shí)間讓考生間先進(jìn)行一下交流,這就是所謂的熱身。千萬(wàn)不要小瞧這個(gè)熱身,大家要抓緊時(shí)間交流,因?yàn)槊總(gè)人的口語(yǔ)都有自己的特色,很少有考生的發(fā)音是完全標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的,因此要在這有限的時(shí)間內(nèi)盡可能的熟悉伙伴的發(fā)音特點(diǎn),基本了解他們的性格,對(duì)他們針對(duì)話題可能作出的反應(yīng)最好心中有點(diǎn)數(shù),這樣等到正式考試時(shí),大家才能有好的配合。
2. 專心致志。整個(gè)考試過程都應(yīng)保持注意力高度集中,最好能做到悉心傾聽每一個(gè)同伴的發(fā)言,以有備無(wú)患,免得突然叫到你而搞得手足無(wú)措。再就是眼神要堅(jiān)定、真切、自然,不要四處游離;不要過于幽默,以免顯得做作、不自然,甚至變成滑稽。
