　　The increasing convenience of international flight and globalisation make it easier for travellers to step out of their national boundaries and experience the exotic atmosphere of other countries. However, travellers’ prejudice also arises along with the booming of the international tourism. I view that language barrier and the preconceptions of tourists are mainly responsible for this phenomenon.

　　It is quite natural that many international tourists hardly know the local languages, rendering it difficult for them to communicate with local people. This means that the interaction between holidaymakers and local people is quite restricted, which may only range from taking some snapshots of the landscapes or getting some second-hand information from the tour guides. As a result, misunderstanding of the local conventions and cultures are likely to occur due to inefficiency of language, and to some extent, misunderstanding itself will induce bias.

　　Another reason contributes to this problem is tourists’ preconceptions. The preconceptions, once coming into shape, are somewhat hard to change. Some of the tourists may feel reluctant to take initiatives to know the exotic cultures and practices because there are some differences between their native culture which they have been accustomed to and the totally new surroundings. For example, many international tourists from developed countries have a biased outlook of the unsophisticated and natural cultures of some African countries, misinterpreting them something backward and primitive.

　　To solve this problem, more concerted effort should be made. It is advisable that the tourist form a more comprehensive understanding by obtaining more information about their destination. They can also make friends with some local residents to have a closer look on their real life. Besides, publicity launched by local governments and media can also make a difference. More advertisements can be made to inform tourists of the realistic surroundings of their tour destination.

　　To sum up, tourists will be more open-minded and objective by analysing the reasons of this phenomenon and then making the joint effort.

　　很自然,許多國(guó)際游客不知道當(dāng)?shù)氐恼Z(yǔ)言,使他們很難與當(dāng)?shù)厝私涣鳌＿@意味著游客和當(dāng)?shù)鼐用裰�間的互動(dòng)非常受限,這可能只從一些快照的風(fēng)景從導(dǎo)游或得到一些二手信息。結(jié)果,當(dāng)?shù)氐牧?xí)俗和文化的誤解可能會(huì)導(dǎo)致效率低下的語(yǔ)言,并在某種程度上,誤解本身將產(chǎn)生偏見(jiàn)。

　　導(dǎo)致這個(gè)問(wèn)題的另一個(gè)原因是游客的偏見(jiàn)。偏見(jiàn),一旦進(jìn)入狀態(tài),有些很難改變。一些游客可能會(huì)覺(jué)得不愿采取措施了解異國(guó)文化和實(shí)踐,因?yàn)橛幸恍┎町愃麄兊谋就廖幕?他們已經(jīng)習(xí)慣了和全新的環(huán)境。例如,許多國(guó)際游客來(lái)自發(fā)達(dá)國(guó)家有偏見(jiàn)的前景不自然文化的一些非洲國(guó)家,他們曲解和原始落后的東西。

　　為了解決這個(gè)問(wèn)題,更應(yīng)該共同努力。建議旅游形成一個(gè)更全面的理解,獲得更多關(guān)于目的地的信息。他們也可以和一些當(dāng)?shù)鼐用窠慌笥炎屑?xì)看他們的現(xiàn)實(shí)生活。此外,宣傳由地方政府和媒體也可以發(fā)揮作用。多的廣告可以告訴游客旅游目的地的現(xiàn)實(shí)環(huán)境。

　　總之,游客將以更加開(kāi)放的態(tài)度,客觀分析這一現(xiàn)象的原因,然后做出共同努力。
