Task5之所以稱(chēng)之為綜合口語(yǔ),因?yàn)樵谄渲,除了要說(shuō)的部分以外,考生還要注意聽(tīng)力的內(nèi)容。這也是整個(gè)綜合口語(yǔ)部分中只有聽(tīng)力內(nèi)容和說(shuō)的內(nèi)容的考試部分。說(shuō)白了這里就是要將你聽(tīng)到的聽(tīng)力內(nèi)容用自己的語(yǔ)言復(fù)述出來(lái)。
這里介紹的托福綜合口語(yǔ)Task5答題模板+范文解析是通過(guò)TPO17的Task5為例來(lái)為大家講解的:
問(wèn)題:
The speakers discuss two possible solutions to the man’s problem. Briefly summarize the problem, then state which solution you recommend and explain why.
Preparation Time: 20 seconds
Recording Time: 60 seconds
答題模板:
In the conversation, the student/tutor is facing a problem that __❶__.
There are two solutions. She could choose either __❷__ or __❸__.
As for me, I prefer the former/ latter because of two reasons.
The first reason is __❹__.
The second reason is __❺__.
In conclusion, based on these two reasons I think the first/ second solution is better.

聽(tīng)力對(duì)話一開(kāi)始,男生或者女生會(huì)交代自己遇到的問(wèn)題,一般場(chǎng)景敘述在15-30s之間不等,在這過(guò)程中考生需要掌握提煉核心信息的能力,盡量用1-2句話去概括❶中男生或女生遇到的問(wèn)題。
❷和❸代表解決問(wèn)題的兩個(gè)建議方案,考生必須明確說(shuō)明怎么“做”才能解決問(wèn)題。因此,建議在此處用動(dòng)詞不定式to do或者h(yuǎn)e/she can do的形式復(fù)述具體方案。
聽(tīng)力對(duì)話中,通常每個(gè)方案之后都會(huì)出現(xiàn)各自的優(yōu)點(diǎn)或缺點(diǎn)。但由于答題時(shí)間有限,考生應(yīng)對(duì)優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)進(jìn)行關(guān)鍵詞概括或省略不說(shuō),把時(shí)間留給personal opinion部分,千萬(wàn)不可把大部分的時(shí)間放在復(fù)述聽(tīng)力中問(wèn)題和解決方案的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)上。
❹和❺處考生可根據(jù)個(gè)人的經(jīng)歷指出支持方案一或二的理由。通常,如果支持方案一,可以說(shuō)說(shuō)方案二的缺點(diǎn),反之亦然。另外,比較常見(jiàn)的理由有,告訴對(duì)方實(shí)情,對(duì)方會(huì)理解的等。

M: Hey Sally, I just got the first draft of my research paper back from professor Stone.
F: ❶ Just now? I got mine back a few days ago.
M: ❷ Yeah, everyone else in the class that I know of got theirs back a few days ago too.
F: But, the deadline…you’re running out of time.
M: Yeah, I am worried. ❸ I only have one day to review all his comments and write my final draft. He made a lot of suggestions.
F: ❹ You should definitely ask Professor Stone for a deadline extension. He should take some responsibility for the situation; it is sort of his fault you won’t have much time to work on it before the due date.
M: ❺ I thought about that, but would he think I was being pushy, or…criticizing him for not getting the paper back to me right away? I don’t want to offend him.
F: True, but it’s your grade we’re talking about. You’ve got a legitimate concern, but it’s understandable if you’re uncomfortable asking.
M: Yeah…I’m in a tough spot.
F: ❻ You know you could always just do your best with the time you have left. You’re a good student, I bet you can finish it quickly; work really fast and it’ll still turn out good.

❶ The man just got his first draft of paper from the professor and he has to review all the comments and write a final version. But there is only one day left. ❷ The woman offers him two possible suggestions. The first suggestion is to ask the professor for a deadline extension. ❸ Because all the other students got their paper a few days ago and only the man got his paper just now, so the professor should take some responsibility for this situation. ❹ Nonetheless, the man does not want to seem pushy and offensive. The second possible solution is to do his best with the time left. He can finish the paper quickly and work hard. Since he is a pretty good student, he can get a pretty good grade. But there are too many comments to deal with. If I were the man, I would choose the first solution. ❺ Owing to professor’s fault, even if it‘ll be a little uncomfortable asking the extension, it is still reasonable to do so. ❻ In addition, there is no need to worry about being offensive. The man just need to tell the problem to the professor in the first place.
