2015托福獨(dú)立寫作范文：紀(jì)念日
October 24 is Union Nations Day. This day is noted in the calendars, but not observed as a holiday around the world. I want the entire world to celebrate the birth of the United Nations because of its attempts to promote peace, education, and health around the world.
Peace is the most important thing that we can have today. The sooner that we can stop war the sooner we can all have better lives. There are countries around the world that have been at war for generations. In some of these countries, UN Peacekeepers have temporarily(暫時(shí)地;姑;一時(shí)半刻) stopped the violence so people can go about their lives. If this peace could be made lasting, the lives of these citizens would be much richer.
The UN actively works to promote education. Universal literacy(識(shí)字;有文化;能讀能寫;精通文學(xué))is one of its important goals. Every child in the world deserves to know how to read and write. The UN is also involved in job training for adults. The age of information technology demands new job skills. The UN works with continuing education programs around the world so workers are not left out of the job market.
The UN has played an instrumental role in the eradication of smallpox. Polio vaccines and AIDS-awareness programs have also helped reduce the incidence of these diseases. There is a lot to be done in these areas.
Much of the work of the UN is unknown and underappreciated(1、未得到正確評(píng)價(jià)的 2、未受到充分賞識(shí)的). If we want to live in a peaceful world, where every child can attend school and where every citizen has access to health care, we need to support the work of the UN. We need to recognize its importance and celebrate its birthday.
10月24日是國(guó)家聯(lián)盟的一天。指出在日歷的這一天,但未觀察到世界各地度假。我希望——世界是聯(lián)合國(guó)的誕生,因?yàn)樗噲D促進(jìn)和平,全世界的教育和健康。

聯(lián)合國(guó)已經(jīng)起到了作用,根除天花、脊髓灰質(zhì)炎疫苗和艾滋病意識(shí)——設(shè)計(jì)也從減少這些疾病的發(fā)病率,在這些領(lǐng)域有很多工作要做。
聯(lián)合國(guó)的工作是未知的和被低估(2,1,不正確的評(píng)價(jià)尚未充分重視)。如果我們想生活在一個(gè)和平的世界,每個(gè)孩子都可以上學(xué),每個(gè)公民都有獲得衛(wèi)生保健,我們需要支持聯(lián)合國(guó)的工作。我們需要認(rèn)識(shí)到它的重要性,它的生日。
