Now let me enumerate the reasons one by one in the following.In the first place,English has become an international language，because it is used by people in the most countries in the world now. If you know English,you van make a trip round the world without being misunderstood.In the second place,most valuable books,newspapers and magazines are written in English.

　　The English language has become an international language In the open times，if you want to do business with foreigners，you must learn English because most of them speak and write in English，English is one of the working languages at international meetings，Today，most of valuable books are written in English，If you know much English，you will read newspapers and magazines in English and learn a lot of knowledge about interaction better. You also can do what you should do for the world peace.

　　English is familiar to most people,because nearly every student in school has to learn English. It is a compulsory course in most schools. Why we have to learn English? First of all,English is a worldwide language. Nearly every country is using it,including China. If we want to earn a good position in China,we need to learn English. Besides,learning English can provide us more chances when finding jobs. With the development of China,we have more chances to work with or work for foreigners. What’s more,learning English is helpful to build our confidence. The more knowledge we know the more confidence we will have.

　　在改革開放中，如果你想要和外國人做生意，你必須學習英語，因為他們中的大部分人都是用英語說和寫，國際會議的語言也是英語。今天，重要的'書籍多是以英語出版的，如果你懂得更多的英語，你就可以讀英文報紙和雜志，學習更多的國際知識，你就可以為世界和平做出你應該做的貢獻。

　　大部分人都很熟悉英語，因為幾乎每個學生在學校里都要學習英語。在大部分學校英語都是必修課。我們?yōu)槭裁匆獙W習英語?首先，英語是世界通用的語言。幾乎每個國家都在使用英語，包括中國。如果我們想在中國贏得一個好地位，我們就得學習英語。此外，學習英語在找工作的時候可以為我們提供更多機會。隨著中國的發(fā)展，我們有更多的機會去和外國人一起工作或者為他們工作。更重要的是，學習英語有助于我們建立信心。學到的知識越多我們就會越有自信。

　　As I am concerned,study is not only a personality of students,but also a personality of all people throughout their lives.People need to learn the knowledge whoever they are.If people don't learn knowledge,there will have no way to do things and become ignorant about world.Can you imagine a world that no people have knowledge?Leaving knowledge,the world would no get progress.If people don't learn knowledge,there will be no people to know how to use the computer,how to write the news,even how to communicate with others.

　　So learning knowledge is a very important thing,it consists of our world.
