　　這就是中國教育的一個現(xiàn)狀：對科學知識抓得狠，也把各類奧賽搞得紅紅火火，但卻似乎對常識的教育力度不夠。學校的課程包羅萬象，可以獨缺“常識”。學生們便因此被擱在高高在上的“象牙之塔”，只搞著高端學問。當今中國要強國，靠的'是飛機、大炮、火箭這些高科技，似乎就應該給學生“喂飽”科技知識�！俺ＷR那些小事兒，何足掛齒，成大事者不拘小節(jié)嘛�！泵慨斂吹竭@些言論，我真想拍案而起，高呼一句：“此言謬矣，別拿常識不當干糧！”

　　常識是一門指導我們生活得更好的藝術。衣、食、住、行等日常行為，無一不需要常識的引導。我們現(xiàn)在洗衣煮飯等家務活可以由父母包辦，各種事宜可以由父母操勞，儼然一個個不問政事的小皇帝。但父母不能照料我們一輩子，長大后還是要靠自理。倘若不懂常識，將來豈不是要處處碰壁？難道還事事都找個電話問父母？而連自己都照料不好，生活一塌糊涂，又怎有心思搞學問？

　　Common sense is an art that guides us to live better. Common sense is needed to guide daily behaviors such as clothing, food, shelter and transportation. Now we can do housework such as washing, cooking and so on by our parents. We can do all kinds of things by our parents. We are like little emperors who don't care about politics. But our parents can't take care of us all our lives. We still have to take care of ourselves when we grow up. If you don't know common sense, will you run into trouble everywhere in the future? Do you still have to find a phone to ask your parents about everything? And even if you can't take good care of yourself and your life is in a mess, how can you be interested in learning?

　　常識也是科技的基礎�？茖W并不是“空中樓閣”，而是廣生于人們對身邊事物的實踐與探索。牛頓從蘋果落地的常識中總結(jié)出萬有引力定律；魯班從葉子會割傷手的常識中發(fā)明出鋸子。離開常識而空談高科技，就像蓋樓房不起地基，是靠不住的。

　　由此觀之，在素質(zhì)教育制度中，增加常識的普及，是很有意義的。應做到常識與科技知識兩手抓。但同時，我們還要培養(yǎng)學生的創(chuàng)新意識以及獨立思考能力，使他們能在平凡的常識中總結(jié)出科學規(guī)律，又或者讓他們大膽質(zhì)疑常識，不要囿于常識。當年偉大的物理學家伽利略，正是在對常識的質(zhì)疑中提出了新的思想。歷史也證明了他的這一大膽質(zhì)疑是正確的。
