一堂外教課上局部同學的表示使我警醒，回顧以前的英語教學，我過于關注了怎樣讓同學在考試時書寫出規(guī)范答案，卻導致了他們在真實生活中上演了“規(guī)范無禮”的一幕。
今天是本學期三年級外教口語班第一次上課，同學們滿懷期待，第二節(jié)一下課就興奮地讓我?guī)е麄兊娇谡Z室去。一進門，一位約三十出頭的女教師微笑著站起身來，同學們紛紛揮手向她打招呼，“Hello！”“Hi！”“Nice to meet you.”一聲聲熱情的問候，一張張可愛的笑臉包圍了她。她向我說，他們是這些天來她所接觸到最有禮貌最熱情的小朋友，她很喜歡他們。聽了這番贊美之辭，我不由有些得意。對了，光顧著高興，還沒請教對方姓名呢，“May I have your name, please?” 我問道，她說她叫Angela。就在我們說話的這會兒，有幾個男孩躍躍欲試，舉手問Angela：“What’s your name?”這個句子就印在課本里，要是在平時的課堂上，我準會覺得他們發(fā)音準確，聲音響亮。可是現在，在外國朋友面前，這句話聽起來是那么的刺耳,其他同學也爭先恐后地拋出了自身的問題 ,What’s your name? Good afternoon.真是一群聰明伶俐的小朋友,幾乎說出了所有在課本中學過的現在能派上用場的句子,只是他們沒有注意到我由于尷尬而微微漲紅的臉。我正準備揮手讓他們恬靜下來，幾句響亮的'“Ｈow old are you?”傳入耳中。天哪！我曾經告訴過同學西方人禁忌的事呀，不知Angela聽到這樣敏感無禮的問題有何反應。我趕緊示意他們恬靜下來，開始上課。Angela給同學分發(fā)資料了，局部同學接過資料，沒有答謝，Angela還是那樣和藹可親，看起來一點沒有介意。我看在眼里，急在心里。
這堂生動的外教課，我的大局部同學表示都很出色，反應靈敏，大膽發(fā)言，可是，少局部同學暴露出我教學的單薄環(huán)節(jié)。第一，當詢問對方姓名的時候，僅僅知道說What’s your name?而忽視了禮貌用語Please。第二，當接過他人遞來的東西時，忘記說Thank you。第三，對他人尤其是女性直接問How old are you? 這些或許不是大問題，但同學只知機械套用書本句子，沒有考慮到中外文化習俗的差別，在實際的語言交際中就了出現了問題。

我反復考慮著自身的教學，在關注培養(yǎng)同學的學習興趣，大膽實踐的精神和語言知識的傳授之外，還忽視了什么呢？那就是要進一步培養(yǎng)同學跨文化交際的意識和能力，提升其人文素養(yǎng)。《英語課程規(guī)范》明確規(guī)定，基礎教育階段英語課程的總目標是培養(yǎng)同學的綜合語言運用能力，它的形成建立在同學語言技能、語言知識、情感態(tài)度和文化意識等素質整體發(fā)展的基礎上。同學的文化意識與人文素養(yǎng)是能得體運用語言的保證。在教學中，教師要靈活，有發(fā)明性的使用課本，處置好語言與文化的關系，努力使同學在學習英語的過程中了解英語國家文化；協助他們提高理解和恰當運用英語的能力，不時發(fā)展同學跨文化交際的意識與能力。讓他們了解中西方社會道德觀念，思維表達方式的不同，擴展同學的視野，培養(yǎng)國際型的人才。想到這里，我要立即做兩件事，一是代我的同學們去向Angela道歉,二是要在我的教學計劃中增加新的內容。
