InChina, the government and the scientific community support the promotion of geneticallymodified crops, but touch off a continuous trust crisis. In view of people's concern about thesafety of related agricultural produces, the Chinese government has drafted a new grainlaw，intending to impose a stricter management on GMF. The law requires that no entity andindividual should apply genetically modified technology to the principal grain cultivars.

1.特殊交通工具:可譯為special transportation vehicle。文中的'“工具”翻譯為vehicle,是指“車輛工具”，這里不要用tool, tool通常是指能拿在手里、體積比較小的工具。
2.人們用肩膀和手抬轎:用被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)翻譯可使結(jié)構(gòu)更顯緊湊，如譯為主動(dòng)句式 people lift it with shoulders and hands就顯得一般，而且這里并不是強(qiáng)調(diào) people,所以譯為被動(dòng)句It is lifted with shoulders and hands.這樣上下文銜接更流楊。
