面試時如何用英語自我介紹

面試時，我們會面對形形色色的問題，而最令人啞口無言的，往往是一些最簡單和最常見的題目，比如"請你自我介紹一下"。大多數(shù)應征者的反應是--我應該如何作答呢？

其實要懂得應對此問題，就要先做好日常英語教育 

準備You'll have a better chance of impressing the interviewer if you think about this question before the interview. The first thing to realize is that the question, "Tell me about yourself," provides you with a great chance to promote your strong points. This is particularly important when applying for a job that is different from what you have done in the past. You need to show the interviewer that your previous jobs provide you with skills that can be used in the new job. WHAT TO TALK ABOUT 如何介紹？

你可以選擇三個重點來介紹自己，但避免重復履歷中曾提及的資料。Around this skeleton should be the meat of your answer; your less obvious, but important skills. Here are some of the skills that you might want to mention. 你可以介紹自己是：

Problem solver 解決問題能手

Creative thinker 充滿創(chuàng)意

Accurate 小心謹慎

People person 與人相處融洽

Team player 合群

Organized 組織力高

This doesn't mean that you just say, "I'm a great problem solver." Instead, explain how you used your problem-solving skills at your previous job. 事例比自我夸耀更能說明問題。

自我介紹的時間不要過長，最好是一至三分鐘。最初你可能會覺得日常英語口語培訓 

時間太長，但當你真正要介紹自己三項特質時，你就會發(fā)現(xiàn)時間不夠用了。

WHAT TO SAY 應說什么？

當你構思答案時，你要想想應該如何說出，內容要令人感興趣，不沉悶，避免滔滔不絕地只說自己的強項。

Here are some final things to think about when answering the question "Tell me about yourself."

Mention major awards or accomplishments that relate to your career;

闡述工作上的重要成就或獎項

Promote your strengths, but do not mention any of your weaknesses;

推銷自己的長處，但不要提及自己的弱點

Try to be funny if you can, but don't force it;

可以的話，盡量說得幽默有趣

Summarize your career and education, but don't recite a list;

概括說出你的工作經(jīng)驗和學歷，但切勿背誦

Don't start with your date of birth;

不用提及你的出生日期

Avoid information that is not career-related. The fact that you own a dog won't get you a job

避免說一些與職業(yè)無關的事，例如：你有一只狗，這并不能為你爭取到工作

Now I will introduce myself briefly

I am 26 years old, born in Shandong province.

I was graduated from Qinghai University. My major is electronic. And I got my bachelor degree after my graduation in the year of 2003.

I spend most of my time on study; I have passed CET4/6. And I have acquired basic knowledge of my major during my school time.

In July 2003, I began work for a small private company as a technical support engineer in Qinghai City. Because I'm capable of more responsibilities, so I decided to change my job.

And in August 2004, I left Qinghai to Beijing and worked for a foreign enterprise as a automation software test engineer. Because I want to change my working environment, I'd like to find a job which is more challenging. Moreover Motorola is a global company, so I feel I can gain the most from working in this kind of company environment. That is the reason why I come here to compete for this position.

I think I'm a good team player and I'm a person of great honesty to others. Also I am able to work under great pressure.

Now I will introduce myself briefly, I am 21 years old, born in Heilongjiang province, northeast of china, and I am currently a senior student at Beijing XX unit .my major is packaging engineering. And I will receive my bachelor degree after my graduation in June. In the past 4 years, I spend most of my time on study, I have passed CET4/6 with an ease. And I have acquired basic knowledge of packaging and publishing both in theory and in practice. Besides, I have attended several packaging exhibition hold in Beijing, this is our advantage study here, and I have taken a tour to some big factory and company. I feel that my strongest asset is my ability to stick to things to get them done. I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I finish a job and it turns out just as I’d planned. I’ve set some high goals for myself. For example, I want to graduate with highest distinction. And even though I had a slow start in my freshman year, I made up for it by doing an honor’s thesis.

4. What is your greatest weakness?（你最大的弱點是什么？）

你不應該說你沒有任何弱點，以此來回避這個問題。每個人都有弱點，最佳策略是承認你的弱點，但同時表明你在予以改進，并有克服弱點的計劃�？赡艿脑�，你可說出一項可能會給公司帶來好處的弱點，如可說：“我是一個完美主義者。工作做得不漂亮，我是不會撒手的。”
