1、流利而準(zhǔn)確的英語表達(dá)能力將成為你的職場競爭力。
外企英語面試和雅思托福等出國考試不一樣。前者是競爭型測試，后者是通過型測試。也就是說，參加出國考試的通過人數(shù)沒有名額限制，你只要能力足夠高，發(fā)揮得足夠好，就能夠pass。然而外企招聘卻是有名額限制的，只有優(yōu)于他人的應(yīng)聘者才可能在外企英文面試中脫穎而出。
專業(yè)而熟練的職業(yè)技能結(jié)合流利的口語表達(dá)、清晰的英語思維、地道的英語發(fā)音、準(zhǔn)確而恰當(dāng)?shù)馁嫡Z運(yùn)用、跨文化溝通技巧等將成為你應(yīng)聘外企的主要競爭力。外教William Hill先生告訴我們：“I interviewed a lot of candidates in Shanghai, a few of which did impress me deeply with veteran skills. I was surprised at their spoken English because they appeared to be a Chinese American. I just couldn't decline them.”
在多人競爭某一職位時(shí)，簡單的“可以理解的”初級英語層次顯然不能夠凸顯個(gè)人實(shí)力。William Hill先生建議應(yīng)聘者不妨關(guān)注一下自己的英語表達(dá)和發(fā)音，中國式英語是應(yīng)該避免的，多了解你即將應(yīng)聘的外企的國家文化，因?yàn)槊總�(gè)國家的文化不同會使面試過程的氛圍也不同。相對來講美國企業(yè)的面試比較relaxing，有點(diǎn)像一般的聊天，只不過聊的內(nèi)容不是普通的“閑聊”。如果在外企英文面試中能準(zhǔn)確地融入一些該國的俚語，則你的面試過程將會非常的愉快。
2、外企招聘時(shí)看重哪些英語證書？
如果外企的面試官是老外的話，那么國內(nèi)的一些英語考試如CET4、CET6、TEM4、TEM8等可能作用并不明顯，除了老外不了解這些考試外更多的在于這些考試并沒有對考生的口語能力進(jìn)行測試。關(guān)于這個(gè)問題William Hill說：“I don't think candidates with those certificates are up to par, because what we focus on is the communicating ability. And, as is known, CET and TEM don't seem to test one's speaking skills. But he who owns an IELTS or TOEFL certificate may be preferred.”可見雅思、托福等出國英語證書可能在一定程度上增強(qiáng)應(yīng)聘者的競爭力。

3、關(guān)于介紹自己的：Could you say something about yourself? Could you sell yourself within a few minutes?
這個(gè)問題可以說是大眾問題了，通過這個(gè)問題，面試官一方面大致把握一下你的英語水平，一方面找到和你交流的突破點(diǎn)，探尋本質(zhì)，打破沙鍋是人力資源經(jīng)理的一慣作風(fēng)，因此回答這個(gè)問題時(shí)務(wù)必事實(shí)求是，否則后面很可能無法自圓其說。不過這個(gè)問題其實(shí)也不復(fù)雜，外教William Hill告訴我們說與其說這個(gè)是測試應(yīng)聘者的問題，不如說是應(yīng)聘者賣弄自己英語的大好機(jī)會，So don't miss the boat！
你可以從以下幾個(gè)方面突出自己：職業(yè)技能強(qiáng)項(xiàng)，該技能的深入程度，該技能完成過的項(xiàng)目以及自己其他相關(guān)方面的深入研究和學(xué)習(xí)、探索，注意突出個(gè)性。請不要在自己的姓名、年齡、畢業(yè)學(xué)校、興趣愛好等方面浪費(fèi)時(shí)間，也不用再把你的簡歷背誦一遍，因?yàn)槔贤庖呀?jīng)看過你的CV了。時(shí)間可以根據(jù)情況控制在2-3分鐘的樣子。注意外企英語面試是口頭表達(dá)的過程，建議在隨后的互動過程中多多使用口語化的表達(dá)，盡量讓自己融入整個(gè)對話（Conversation），而不是在教條式的背誦文章。

Know something about the organization you are applying to.
了解一些你申請工作單位的情況。
Dress properly. Don't shake hand with the interviewer until he/she extends his/her hand.
穿著要得體，人家伸手時(shí)才握手。
Don't sit down until invited to do so by the interviewer.
人家未請，先別坐下。
Make eye-contact with the interviewer during the interview.
面試時(shí)，眼睛要看著對方。
Listen actively and stay calm.
注意聽，保持冷靜。
If invited to a meal, be especially careful about your table manners.
